Business is trained to make graphs go up. Sustainability inverts that: it's a race to zero, and the finish line is 2050. Plenty of executives have signed the target. Far fewer have felt what reaching it costs.

Carbon Countdown puts CFOs at a game board and makes them plot a credible course to net zero under genuine financial pressure.

DETAIL

The game is tactile by design: a simple board and a set of strategic decarbonisation interventions that teams deploy round by round, trading emissions against balance sheets. Behind the board sits a live decarbonisation engine, scoring every team's performance in real time on a central leaderboard. Competition does the rest.

The design practises what it preaches: recycled materials throughout, nothing on the table that doesn't earn its place. By the end, the intention-action gap isn't a phrase in a report. It's the distance between where your team is and where you swore you'd be.
