I've been a creative director, technologist and many more things in my time. For twenty years I've put imagination to work: ideas that deliver impact, installations you experience, advertising that wins awards, serious games for serious issues, futures made real enough to argue with. Creativity and imagination show us new ways to understand people and new ways to see the world... as it is, or how it might be.
Imagination is easy to dismiss until it's applied. Then it's undeniable.

MY PRACTICE
Every job here has something in common: applied creativity. Take an idea that matters and give it a form people cannot ignore.
For fifteen years that meant campaigns, at Ireland's best agencies, for the likes of Three, Samsung, Chelsea FC and Diageo. At Accenture's global innovation hub, and now independently, it has meant turning social-science research into things people can experience: an escape room set three years from now, a wargame played by the communities it is about, an AI that debates it's own ethics with you. A report tells you what is true. An experience shows you what you assume. That difference is where I work.
I'm Visiting Creative Fellow at King's College London, working on futures methodology and speculative design. I hold a Certificate in Speculative Design Futures from IADT and a first-class MA in Design for Digital Media.
I love to work collaboratively and explore new technology. I believe the work gets better with more voices in the room. And I've learned we can never drive action without sparking the imagination first.
